Wonder Door

Behind the Wonder Door, your child is the hero.

A family adventure game for iPhone + iPad. You tell the story from your phone โ€” they see themselves in every illustrated scene, make the choices, and roll the dice. Played, not watched.

Fifteen-minute quests. Three endings each. The story remembers the path you took.

What is Wonder Door?

It's tabletop adventure โ€” made for families with little kids.

Think of the cozy magic of a role-playing game night, shrunk to fifteen minutes and pointed at a three-to-seven-year-old. You're the guide โ€” the app hands you every word, so there's no prep and nothing to learn. Your child is the hero โ€” not watching a character on a screen, but being one, making the calls and rolling the dice that decide what happens next.

No videos to zone out to. No endless feed. Just one short, complete adventure you play together, then close the door until tomorrow.

1

You read, they listen

Your phone shows the story beat by beat โ€” the narration, the funny voices, what the characters say. You just read it out loud. Instant storyteller.

2

They make a choice

Take the glowing stairs, or the secret vents? Your child decides. Their choices bend the story down a different path โ€” and the app remembers which one.

3

Roll the dice

A real die, or a tap. Three or higher and the plan works; lower and it goes hilariously sideways. Fails are always funny, never scary โ€” the story rolls on either way.

4

Earn your ending

Every quest has more than one ending. How you played โ€” your choices and your rolls โ€” decides which one you unlock. Replay it and a different night unfolds.

Worlds to explore

A door to somewhere new, every night.

Each adventure drops your child into a hand-crafted world โ€” bright, cozy, and just a little bit thrilling. Here's where the door might open tonight.

Candy Cosmos

Starlight Cosmos

Ride icy comets past a smiling ringed planet.

Dragon Peaks

Dragon Peaks

Lantern-lit mountains where small dragons make big friends.

Unicorn Meadows

Unicorn Meadows

Rainbow mist, sparkling streams, and unicorns who remember you.

Mermaid Lagoon

Mermaid Lagoon

Coral gardens aglow beneath clear turquoise water.

The Wildlands

Sugarplum Kingdom

Dino Valley

Dino Valley

Gentle giants and waterfalls in a sun-warmed prehistoric valley.

Why it's different

Not another thing to hand them and walk away.

Your choices actually matter

This isn't a story on rails. The path your child picks changes what happens and which ending they earn โ€” so "again!" means a genuinely different night, not a rerun.

They see themselves in it

The hero of every illustrated scene looks like your child. That flash of recognition โ€” that's me! โ€” is what makes them lean in and ask for one more.

Played together, never alone

It only works with a grown-up reading along. It's a reason to sit down together, not a way to buy fifteen quiet minutes. The opposite of screen-time guilt.

Every story reviewed by people

Each adventure is a fixed script, shaped and reviewed by people before it ships โ€” warm, funny, and safe by design. No story is ever generated at your child on the fly.

Private by design

No ads. No tracking. No data sold. If you ever add a photo to shape the character, it's used once and deleted โ€” never stored.

Short and complete

Fifteen minutes, a real beginning-middle-end, and a satisfying close. Made to end โ€” no cliffhangers engineered to keep them hooked.

The full experience

Two screens

You guide from your phone; your child watches the story unfold, full-screen, on the iPad. A little theatre at the kitchen table โ€” best for the big, wide-eyed moments.

Cozy & simple

One screen

Just one device? Play it all on a single iPad โ€” story, pictures, and dice together. Perfect for snuggling up close on the couch. Your call, any night.

Ages 3โ€“7

The first adventure is free. Setup takes about two minutes, and then your child is the hero.
