Wonder Door Terms of Service
The Wonder Door app has not launched yet. These Terms take effect when the app becomes available; we're publishing them early so families can review them in advance.
Effective date: these Terms take effect when the Wonder Door app launches. Last updated: July 19, 2026.
These Terms govern your use of the Wonder Door app, operated by Horizoncrest LLC ("we," "us"). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Who may use Wonder Door
You must be at least 18 and the parent or legal guardian of any child whose profile you create. Accounts are for adults only; children may not create accounts or agree to these Terms. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Apple or Facebook sign-in secure.
2. What Wonder Door is
Wonder Door provides authored, illustrated story adventures that an adult and child play together. Illustrations are generated by AI image tools using the child profile you provide, so your child appears as the story's hero. Story text is fixed, pre-written, and reviewed by people before release; nothing shown to your child is generated live by AI. Our website at wonderdoor.app is an informational site; these Terms govern the Wonder Door app.
3. Subscriptions and payment
- Plans: monthly at $14.99/month, annual at $99/year (both auto-renewing), and a $25 one-time month (non-renewing). Prices are in USD and may change prospectively; Apple will notify you of changes to renewing subscriptions.
- All payment, renewal, and cancellation is handled by Apple through your App Store account. Cancel anytime in your App Store subscription settings; access continues through the period you paid for. Refunds are governed by Apple's policies.
- The first adventure is free. A subscription unlocks generation of the full adventure library.
- If your subscription lapses: adventures already generated for your family remain playable. Lapsing only stops new adventures from being generated.
4. Your content and your child's profile
- You confirm you have the right to provide the information you enter about your child, and you grant us permission to process it solely to operate the service (including generating story illustrations) as described in our Privacy Policy.
- Profile text passes automated safety moderation. We may reject or remove content that our moderation flags, and we may refuse generation for content that violates these Terms.
- You may not enter information about a child you are not the parent or legal guardian of.
- If you send us feedback or suggestions about Wonder Door, we may use them to improve the service without restriction or obligation to you.
5. Generated images and story content
- Story text, adventure structure, characters, and artwork style are owned by or licensed to us and are protected by copyright.
- Illustrations generated for your family are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial family use. You may save and share them privately (a bedtime photo to grandma is exactly the point); you may not sell them or use them commercially.
- We do not claim ownership of the personal information you provide; see the Privacy Policy for how it is handled and deleted.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to: reverse engineer, scrape, or copy the service or its content library; attempt to bypass subscription gating or safety moderation; use the service to generate content about anyone other than your own child; or resell access.
7. Termination
You can stop using Wonder Door and delete your account (Settings → Delete account) at any time; deletion is permanent. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or abuse the service. If we terminate without cause during a paid period, we will direct you to Apple's refund process for the unused portion.
8. Disclaimers
Wonder Door is provided "as is." We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that generated illustrations will meet any particular expectation of likeness. The app is an entertainment product, not an educational, medical, or developmental service.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations; in those places our liability is limited to the fullest extent the law allows.
10. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes will be presented in the app, and continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance. The current version will always be available at the Terms link in Settings.
11. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
